About Us: Playful Learning Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part time Occupational Therapist for our Eagle River location. Dynamic individuals interested in working with children birth to 18 years old in a clinic-based setting are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Required skills include developmental handling and knowledge related to development in both gross motor milestones and motor coordination in a pediatric clinic-based setting.
• Effective written and oral communication skills are also required throughout this process.
• Conducts evaluations consistent with and appropriate for patient diagnosis.
• Designs a treatment plan that is goal oriented based upon interpretation of evaluation results and patient’s personal goals.
• Establishes goals that are functional, measurable and attainable.
• Performs re-evaluations per department criteria with modifications/updating of goals as dictated by patient’s progress.
• Flexibility for moving between in clinic and telehealth sessions due to COVID-19.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Alaska licensed or eligible for Alaska licensure.
• Preferably 1-2 years of pediatric experience.

Pay: DOE: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
