Our Assistant Store Manager is a highly motivated leader who is passionate about creating extraordinary customer experiences. They have the ability to meet individual sales and metric goals, drive sales growth, coaches and develops associates to achieve sales goals. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business in conjunction with the Store Manager. You will demonstrate the ability to lead naturally and set a precedent for the team and have the dedication to quality and investing in results that always add value to the business.

Major Responsibilities of the Role:

    • Recruiting, training, supervising, appraising and inspiring staff
    • Managing staff schedules
    • Analyze store reporting
    • Effectively managing customer queries and complaints
    • Overseeing inventory management processes
    • Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets
    • Motivating staff to achieve sales goals
    • Executing visual merchandising directives
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Commercial and Education Requirements:

    • 1+ year(s) of retail management experience
    • Experience in training and managing a team
    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Able to work a flexible schedule
    • Attention to detail
    • Great sense of style

If you are Interested, This is What Success Looks Like as Our Assistant Store Manager:

    • Within 30 days, you will have completed onboarding to learn the Princess Polly customer and the retail policies and procedures. Complete systems training and partner with Store Manager to execute visual merchandising directives.
    • Within 60 days, you will begin assisting the Store Manager in recruitment and interviewing efforts for retail store associates. Assist in onboarding and training the retail store associates in preparation of store opening. Assist in hosting in-store promotional and marketing events for store opening. The store will open.
    • Within 90 days, you will partner with the Store Manager to manage daily store operations and the team. Begin assisting with store reporting, creating team schedules, and providing team feedback.

Salary Range

    • 50k - 80k
