BOOKKEEPER JOB DESCRIPTION – Miami Location
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise
- Either 5-10 years accounting / bookkeeping experience or at least 1-3 years’ experience and a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Some HR experience or knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Problem solver
Job Duties:
- HR duties such as onboarding/ off-boarding employees, benefits, calculating timesheets and submitting payroll
- Accounts Payable- Enter incoming bills and verification of incoming material bills. Making timely payments via check, ach or wire.
- Entry of credit card charges.
- Keeping check on bank balances and transferring when necessary.
- Some Accounts Receivable tasks and retrieval of payment information to forward to AR department.
- Pull reports requested from management.
- Keep all financial records properly organized and with good backup.
Other:
- Experience with Fishbowl inventory is a plus
- Reconciliation experience helpful
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Office hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm with 30 min lunch. Hours may fluctuate depending on workload. Starting at $28 an hour to convert to salary position after three months.
