Trusted Doctors has an immediate opening for a full-time on-site Assistant Controller located in Fairfax, VA. The Assistant Controller is an integral part of the accounting functions of this large group of pediatric practices. In this role, you will perform accounts payable, accounts receivable reconciliations as well as month-end and tax reporting, working as an integral part of the Accounting department.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years experience (payroll and human resources related experience required)
• Advanced degree or CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, Tax preparation, fixed asset and month-end reconciliation procedures
• Exceptional demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Well-organized with excellent time management skills and an ability to manage projects from beginning to end on deadline, including coordinating deliverables from fellow staff, members, vendors, etc.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite with familiarity with database and accounting software a plus

• Payroll Processing: 3 years (Required)
• Human Resources: 2 years
• ACA Reporting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Financial Analysis: 3 years (Preferred)
• Sales Tax: 2 years (Preferred)
