Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire an Automotive Garage Support in Nashville, TN! The Automotive Garage Support provides support to the service shop, including but not limited to parts and inventory, vehicle transporting, shop cleanliness, parts pick up/delivery and more.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!

Shift: Monday – Friday 7am - 3pm

What the Automotive Service Coordinator/Garage Support looks like:

• Transport single vehicles/trucks
• Parts & Inventory
• Help keep shop clean
• Perform pre/post trip inspections
• Completing tracking logs
• May help replenish vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other duties as required

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

• 1+ years in an automotive repair environment a big plus!
• CDL - Class A OR B a MUST!!
• Ability to put fill vehicles with oil, windshield wiper fluid, air in tires, etc.
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
• Ability to operate a manual transmission a plus!

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
