Strategy Co-Op

Aitia is the leader in the application of Causal AI and Digital Twins to discover the next generation of breakthrough drugs. By leveraging the convergence of multi-omic patient data, high-performance computing, and causal learning and AI, Aitia is revealing the hidden biological mechanisms of disease to create Digital Twins of disease in oncology, neurodegenerative disorders, and immunology. Gemini Digital Twins are being used today to discover novel therapies and accelerate R&D in multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and Huntington’s Disease, with several more in development. Aitia’s partners include six of the top ten pharmaceutical companies, leading academic research and medical centers, medical societies, leading multi-omic data companies, and patient advocacy groups globally.

REPORTS TO: Director of Strategy and Corporate Development

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Strategy Co-Op will gain exposure to teams within Aitia as well as external partners and clients while addressing strategic questions for Aitia. You will support the company's strategic initiatives through engaging in a number of activities, including:

• Provide support in identifying multi-omic data streams to be used in building Gemini Digital Twins
• Draft data partnership term sheets and participate in negotiations.
• Own 5-year P&L and sensitivity analysis; responsible for all future adjustments to the model
• Opportunity to get leadership exposure of a tech bio company.
• Conducting market research to drive to critical insights and inform strategy.
• Creating documents to communicate analysis and support decision-making.
• Preparing for and attending strategic partnership and corporate development discussions and tracking key takeaways, action items, and next steps

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA or equivalent Masters
• Experience with Financial modeling, including but not limited to 5-year P&L, cash flow analysis
• Excellent communication skills, experience in communicating complex topics in simple terms
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment
• Self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated interest/experience in life sciences/ biopharma/healthcare and business
• Quantitative and qualitative research skills
• Excellent communicator

SKILL SETS:

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Preferred: Market research, experience in consulting or investment banking
• Experience in Financial Modeling a plus
