Position: Sonographer - Reproductive Medicine
Location: Fargo, ND

General job duties:

• Perform the following ultrasound exams per protocol: Follicle studies with 3D multiplanar manipulation and 1st Trimester OB exams; assist physicians with procedures: saline sonograms, trial transfers, embryo transfers, and cyst aspirations.
• Complete exam summary worksheet and provide preliminary reports as needed.
• Clean and stock ultrasound rooms and equipment.
• Comply with clinic department policies and procedures.
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.

Ultrasound equipment:

• Client Voluson S10 expert x 2
• Electronic worksheets.
• Follicle tracking within EPIC.
• EPIC Radiant schedules and patient charts
• Trophon high level disinfection for transvaginal probe cleaning

Required skills and minimum years of experience:

• Minimum 2 years scanning experience
• Previous experience working at a reproductive clinic is preferred.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:

• ARDMS credentials with OB/GYN
• BLS - must be AHA
• ND State Imaging Licensure

Shift or schedule requirements:

• Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
• No Call
• Working alone at this site

Floating to over units/departments:

One location only – Sanford Reproductive Medicine Clinic

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:

Clinic Location. 1 sonographer staffed per shift

Dress Code:

• Gray scrubs.
• Surgery scrubs are available daily, required for the embryo transfer rooms and OR.

• New employees complete HR Orientation
• Half day of department specific orientation reviewing policy and procedures
• For scanning competencies new employees are paired with a sonographer until signed off on exams.
