Job Description

Are you creative, passionate about social media and looking to join a technology company that is helping the world run smarter? The RTI Marketing team is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to execute our social media strategy. If you are smart, organized, extremely detail-oriented (perhaps even a tad paranoid - oh, just us?) and want to join a team that knows how to have fun while working hard to make an impact, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are seeking a witty, creative social media coordinator who remains calm under pressure and can turn technical concepts into engaging content. You will create compelling and professional posts to increase RTI's awareness, grow our brand loyalty, and amplify our voice on a global scale. You will be hands-on in driving impactful social media campaigns to tell the world who we are, what we do and why it matters. #ThisIsRTI

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of a global social media strategy across both organic and paid channels to increase awareness and create demand for RTI's software
  • Execute paid social media strategy on all platforms (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.) for various campaigns across industries
  • Daily management of RTI social media channels including developing copy, graphics, and scheduling posts/posting in real time across all corporate channels (including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Reddit)
  • Track commentary online to ensure the company is actively participating in relevant, real-time conversations as well as staying up to date on the latest social and digital media trends
  • Develop and manage the corporate social media calendar and work with the RTI Marketing team to ensure timely promotion of our news, events, content, culture, etc.
  • Assist with developing RTI's corporate voice and messaging, and ensure all social content is consistent with this strategy and the RTI brand
  • Serve as the internal expert for social media, working across departments to train executives, spokespeople and employees as needed
  • Regular tracking, analyzing and reporting on both organic and paid social media metrics to make data-driven campaign recommendations

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience managing social media in the technology space, preferably B2B, with a proven track record of overseeing the process from beginning to end
  • Create professional imagery/graphics and videos optimized for social media
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you can take complex, technical topics/ideas and produce creative, engaging and professional content
  • Experience with social media management/listening tools and regularly tracking/reporting on metrics and analytics
  • Very detail oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently yet be a stellar team player with a natural ability for collaboration
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience juggling multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent copy writing/editing ability
  • Passion for the intersection of B2B technology, social media and storytelling
