We have an exciting opportunity at our corporate office in Oak Brook for a number-loving, detail-oriented Bookkeeper! Open to a variety of experience levels and hybrid opportunities may be available after a short training period!

Founded in 1968 and centrally located in Oak Brook, IL, the Inter Continental Real Estate and Development (ICD) family of companies is a diverse group of operating entities, all of which are well capitalized, with primary emphasis in the following industries; real estate and development related services, banking and financial related services, leisure and entertainment facility management.


General Function

The Bookkeeper will assist in the day to day operations for the hospitality and entertainment division within the ICD family of companies, as well as assist in other areas of the Accounting Department.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce documented systems of accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the bookkeeping of our operating entities.
  • Process accounts payable for multiple entities.
  • Record bank deposits and reconcile to various point of sale systems.
  • Manage and process credit card bills.
  • Assist in the bank reconciliation process.
  • Review and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
  • Additional responsibilities typically expected in the position of Bookkeeper.

Required Skills
  • Detail-oriented and numbers-focused.
  • Extremely organized and able to prioritize tasks within business objectives.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally as well as through written forms.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Able to learn accounting systems quickly.


Required Experience
  • 2+ years of related experience within a business office environment.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required.
  • Hospitality, entertainment, or leisure industry experience a plus
