Paraeducators may also be referred to as Paraprofessionals, Education Technicians, Teacher’s Aide, Instructional Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Education Assistant.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma/GED

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district paraeducator in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Assist, support and work closely with the supervising district/school employees
• Building positive relationships, empowering students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• Assist in building a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students including re-enforcing tasks and homework
