Location: 2051 Griffin Road Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
Reports To: COO, Ravi Purimetla


Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 eligible for a performance management bonus program

Requirements 5 plus years in Operations Management in a Tier 1 Manufacturing with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Must be a great leader, strong multi-tasker and be able to deal with high-end affluent customers and boat captains.


Supervision of the technical service team consisting of 20-30 employees.


Responsibilities/Duties:


  • Annual capability strategy and budget planning for resources.
  • Supervise and manage all technicians.
  • Supervise quality engineer (e.g., service work, trade, and new boat delivery inspections)
  • Develop and Publish Earned vs actual report for labor hours from Tech Team.
  • Approve OT hours based on organizational priorities and track them by category.
  • Maintain and update schedule for all incoming boats and boats to be delivered.
  • Update customer service on progress.
  • Manage and facilitate the annual training programs for the service department.
  • Manage schedule attainment for the service group.
  • Manage customer escalation situations in accordance with our internal policy.
  • Maintain 5S standards for work facilities.
  • Maintain service prep and post standards for all work performed.
  • Ensure boats are protected in yard per company standards.
  • Check completion of service work and new boat deliveries per work order.
  • Manage sub-contractor training and certification.
  • Manage and maintain all service equipment preventative maintenance program and standardized inspection process (trailers, lifts, vehicles, etc.)
  • Provide service quote feedback to customer service.
  • Develop and maintain the boat maintenance and refurbishment program for customer campaigns.
  • Run Daily Morning and Evening meetings to get the team aligned for today and plan for tomorrow.
  • Review weekly and monthly exception management reports (upcoming service, days in service, labor utilization reports, etc.)
  • Maintain the budget for the service department and help grow the business segment.
  • Manage and supervise in-house CDL drivers and logistics.
  • Manage and coordinate Field Inspection & Assessments
