Job Summary:

The manager of FP&A will provide strategic and financial support to the Real Estate and Development organization and serve as a trusted partner to the Chief Development Officer. This individual will also serve as a key leader on the Finance management team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Financial Budgeting and Forecasting process for the Real Estate and Development functions.
• Perform thorough financial reviews of all prospective franchisee partners.
• Provide financial support for any acquisitions, divestitures or refranchising transactions that may occur.
• Evaluate and receive the health and financial performance of the company’s franchisee network including consolidating P&L statements to determine trends in their business and opportunities that may exist. Having the ability to return-on-capital investment.
• Prepare proforma analyses and businesses cases for investments to drive revenue and EBITDA growth.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic support to the Chief Development Officer
• Solve challenging analytical problems, which requires working with large and complex data sets and performing exploratory and targeted data analyses along with statistical modeling to identify patterns and trends in data sets to use towards developing actionable insights to guide data-driven decision making.
• Perform periodic Franchisee performance review with Management team
• Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.

Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related business major is required. An MBA is preferred but not required.

Experience – Minimum of 4 - 7 years of financial and analytical experience, preferably in a national multi-unit restaurant corporation, hospitality company or a consumer products environment. Experience working in Real Estate development and in a franchised organization is important to the success of the candidate.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Intellectual curiosity to solve business problems and understand the root cause of business performance by leveraging analytical methods.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills and an ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and must be comfortable presenting in front of the executive leadership team.
• Strong hands-on skills in pulling data, building financial models, and evaluating financial results is a requirement.
• Preferable system experience includes MS Excel, Sitefolio, Lucernex, Franconnect, and NetSuite

Pay Range: $110,000-$130,000
