We're seeking a Retail Marketing Operations Manager to own the marketing process across all stages of go to market and in marketing activation. They will provide critical daily support and project management across the marketing team and be the glue that drives cohesion across the organization. This role requires strong organization, project management and marketing skills, as well as a desire to learn various areas across marketing and the overall business. This role is the steadfast air traffic controller of the marketing team – their operational strategy grounds the team and guides them to do their best work, delivering impactful results and a great a connection with consumers.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsible for retail marketing organizational and operational efficiency; ensure that the groups are working on the right things, at the right time
  • Responsible for planning, forecasting and maintenance of the in-store VM budget
  • Accelerates change through the retail operations organization by apply change management concepts and methods to implement organizational strategies in order to meet business objectives
  • Tracks and supervises the status of major initiatives underway, proactively flagging projects at risk and helping to problem solve a path forward
  • Manages vendor set up, PO issuing, contract submission, store distro lists, and marketing purge lists
  • Coordinates communications with landlords and stores on in-store promotions & pricing changes
  • Partners with Construction, Real Estate, landlords and external vendors to support the opening of new stores
  • Oversees print production by managing relationships with vendors and working closely with brand marketing, VM, and creative teams to ensure timely delivery and communication with retail field teams


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • BS in Marketing, Communications or Business or equivalent education and experience
  • 5 years of experience in similar role in retail, ideally footwear and apparel
  • Ability to optimally handle time, multi-task and prioritize. Enjoys working hard, is action oriented and solution driven. Strong time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions; copes effectively with complexity and change.
  • Knowledgeable about how to get things done through formal channels and informal network, understands culture of organization.
  • Communicates a compelling and inspired vision, talks beyond today, is optimistic and is able to rally support around the vision.
  • Strong communication abilities both written and verbal; ability to connect with all levels in an effective and professional manner.
  • Ability to build, motivate and lead highly effective teams. Creates climate in which people want to do their best, empowers others and, invites input from others for shared ownership and visibility.
  • Has developed skills in establishing clear directions; sets stretching objectives.
