What you are good at


  • Provide sales consultations on Schwab custody and trading services to Advisors turning independent from the wirehouse, independent broker dealer or trust bank channels and fee-based independent investment advisors with $8M – $15M in Schwab eligible assets.
  • Own the sales processes as well as negotiate long-term pricing in exchange for increased assets
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to advance the sales process.
  • Impact the client experience by interacting with end clients to facilitate the onboarding experience with Schwab Advisor Services.
  • Provide sales support to the larger sales team to help identify prospect opportunities and support ongoing quality lead development.

What you have


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses (may be obtained via a condition of employment)
  • Ability to lead business-to-business sales situations
  • 3+ years financial services experience required; Schwab Advisor Services operations preferred
  • Experience in client service or sales support roles required
  • Strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems with own initiative
  • Knowledge of Schwab products and services and brokerage industry including operations and trading
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills in MS office applications including EXCEL and PowerPoint are required
  • Well organized with good time-management skills
  • Industry knowledge
