Job Description:

Unpaid volunteer contributing time to the PCH School Services and their weekly live game show.

We are seeking a volunteer that can help with our weekly live show on Wednesdays from 1:30pm-4:30pm , the volunteer could come in earlier if they want more hours.

Our show involves writing questions, delivering game show flyers to patient rooms, and going room to room to hand out prizes from the prize cart. This position will require the candidate to walk throughout the hospital, be reliable, be timely, and enjoys working with children ages pre-K to high school.

Physical Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to follow and execute instructions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to work with children in varying age groups
• Able to work well with diverse populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sensitive to patient and family situations / dynamics
• Maintain and respect professional relationships
