About Our Clinic:

We are a one-doctor practice that opened in October 2020. We are extremely busy and are looking for talented, dedicated, hardworking people to join our team. Because we are new and growing, there is the chance to advance your career as we grow.

We are a full-service animal hospital that specializes in reproduction. We provide top-quality care for dogs and cats in Folsom and the surrounding area. Our clinic offers a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental care. We see pets for routine preventive care, early detection and treatment of various conditions and diseases, reproduction, urgent care, and surgical care. We pride ourselves on providing the best care each pet needs at every stage of life.

Job description

• Welcome clients and patients with a cheerful smile and a friendly atmosphere
• Check-in patients for appointments
• Schedule appointments and triage emergency calls
• File/update pet records accurately and efficiently
• Discharge patients, process payments, and coordinate follow-up care
• General office administrative work includes answering multi-line phones, emailing, faxing, scanning, etc.

Candidate qualities:

• Proficient in using Cornerstone practice software
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with email/fax and multi-line telephone
• Experience handling money and making change
• Positive attitude
• Great work ethic
• Effective communication
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently
• Works well with others
• Lend a helping hand when needed
• Organized and has attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Veterinary customer service experience of at least 5 years
• High School diploma/equivalent
