We're looking for a Security Shows and Transports Manager to join our Security team. You'll be responsible for coordinating security staff across all divisions within Collectors for various trade shows. You have meticulous organizational skills, being able to handle multiple tasks concurrently. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple team leads within a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, you will collaborate and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and give operational guidance to divisional stakeholders on established show procedures. Lastly, you will be required to develop site assessments at various trade show locations, gather intelligence and report your findings back to the Director of Global Security.

You'll report to the Director of Global Security. The ideal candidate will be local to either Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ but fully remote candidates open to traveling to Santa Ana, CA & Jersey City, NJ will be considered. Up to 70% travel required for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the security show staff ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the show schedule for the security team
  • Process documentation for project commitment
  • Support project administrative deliverables (i.e. meeting scheduling, meeting minutes, project plans, action item tracking, budget tracking, schedule updates, post mortem, etc)
  • Create, review, edit, and format documentation + presentation materials
  • Keep detailed records of cost expenditures
  • Train members of the show Security Team
  • Ensure all members of the team have proper licenses and permits (as required) by their responsibilities
  • Prevent losses and damages at trade shows
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities at trade shows
  • Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements at the local trade shows
  • Contribute to Security team's effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned from the Director
  • Make timely decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Sustain effective relationships with customers and our clients
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards
  • Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers as needed

Who You Are

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional adaptability skills
  • 5+ years security experience
  • 2+ years lead or supervisory experience
  • Former law enforcement and/or military experience is a preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated track record of professionalism, teamwork, leadership, and collaboration, especially in stressful or high pressure situations
  • Ability to clearly communicate with a variety of individuals, both written and verbal (bilingual is a plus, but not required)
  • Work independently and with the ability to analyze and use logic and reasoning to understand how a problem should be approached
  • Able to communicate effectively across all levels of management
  • Attentive to the reactions of others, reading body language well
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Great active listening skills, can foster trusting interpersonal relationships and work well with others
  • High school graduate
  • Valid Driver's license
  • PMI knowledge or certification (preferred)

The Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $65,450-$88,550. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
