Schedule Notes:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays- As Needed. No on Call. 2 years of (recent) Telemetry experience Required. BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS Certifications- All Required Tele/Vent Certs- preferred. Highly prefer Epic experience. This is a RESPIRATORY Patient population- mostly vent patients. Experience with VENTS, cardiac drips, trachs, and read strip- Required. Highly prefer TELE nurse who can evaluate rhythm, interpret strips, and administer cardiac drips. Will be REQUIRED to float to other units throughout facility. Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer. Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority

Job Summary:

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:

• 2 years of (recent) Telemetry experience Required.
• BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS Certifications- All Required
• Tele/Vent Certs- preferred.
• Highly prefer Epic experience

Education:

Add language that a multi-state compact license is acceptable.
