Position overview
This hybrid position will be a temporary, contract position for approximately one year. The ideal candidate will be able to work M-F, 25-40 hours per work. The Technical Writer will be responsible for the creation of technical guides that will be utilized throughout the bank by internal stakeholders and end users.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service; providing premiere client satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Prepares training materials for new Loan Origination System (LOS) that includes screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
- Disseminates technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
- Has technical accuracy in writing user documentation.
- Creates software documentation after thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff members.
- Writes documentation for internal teams.
- Communicates complex ideas in a concise, easy-to-understand manner.
- Gathers employee feedback on documentation to improve usability.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Professional/Technical Writing or related field.
- Proven experience in creating end user documentation.
