We serve many types of bookkeeping clients ranging from restaurants and event venues to landscaping and residential power washing businesses. You must be honest, dependable, tech-savvy, highly organized, self-motivated and have great attention to detail.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in preparing federal & state income tax returns
• Minimum 1-2 years’ bookkeeping experience (in a public accounting setting a plus)
• Knowledge in Drake Tax Prep Software a plus
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements
• Must be QuickBooks (desktop and on-line) proficient

What you will be doing:

• Tax Preparer:
• Preparing individual and business federal and state income tax returns.
• Must be able to file the following tax returns
• Individual 1040
• Business 1065, 1120S & 1120

• Bookkeeper:
• Data entry & bank account reconciliations
• Payroll processing and sales tax payments
• General journal entries
• Reviewing transactions/financial statements
• Generating monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
• Communicating regularly with both team and clients

This is an in office position with the opportunity to do some remote work for those candidates that seek flexibility.
