Job Description
We have an amazing team here at Advocate Sherman Hospital and we’re looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Labor & Delivery Team! We have per diem and part-time, benefit eligible positions available on 3rd shift.
Schedule:
- Per diem opening on nights or
- 0.6 FTE working 2 x 12 hour shifts each week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- 0.6 position is benefit eligible
Position Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA within 90 days of hire
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to independently perform scrub duties

What you will do as a Certified Surgical Tech:
- Functions in the scrub role on surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team
- Preparation and maintenance of the sterile field
- Participates in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room
- Maintains professional work environment
- Demonstrates accountability for own self development
