Leidos is currently hiring a Supply chain analyst to join a multi-faceted Logistical Support Team. This position will support a hybrid of logistical functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, and transportation.

Duties may include communicating, coordinating, and integrating the flow of materials and information among peers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.

You will on be expected to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the work area/project team. Independently work on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. Problems may span a range of issues or areas and are solved through drawing from prior experiences, with thorough analysis of the issue. This position is located at 5270 Shawnee Road, Alexandria, VA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Material handling and transportation of goods and materials within the DC metro area.
• Controlling the flow of goods, services, and information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements and ensure the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes.
• Perform product research and procurement sourcing activities.
• Support the negotiation with vendors to determine best value, provide justification for strategic selection of goods, and administers vendor accounts to include invoicing, billing, and reconsolidation.
• Ensure all procurement, inventory, and additional equipment and information are added, tracked, and reported in line with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Leidos Policy, and standard operating procedures.
• Material handling and transportation is part of our daily routine. This position is typically a business casual environment with the requirement to use protective foot, hand, and eye wear.

Basic Qualifications

• Must hold an active Secret clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and two years experience in supply chain environment: Inventory, shipping, receiving, or administration. A high school diploma with an additional three years of direct experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Knowledge of property management, warehouse distribution, and material handling.
• Be capable of working with workflow, service, procurement, and inventory software systems.
• Must be able to lift and carry 35 Pounds and move 140 pounds (Compressed gas cylinders).
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain qualification as a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) driver (non-CDL).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Flexible, can learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adjust to changing situations and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance
• Forklift Experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Costpoint, and or similar workflow systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel
• Experience driving a CMV |Straight truck with GVWR below 26,001 lbs. (non-CDL).

Experience reviewing technical drawings and documents.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00
