Our growing local client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Staff Accountant. This position will start of on a Temporary Basis from June through November/December. This position could possibly convert to client's payroll depending on the needs that might develop within the company.

SALARY: $31.25 - 40.87/HR ($65 - $85K)

BENEFITS:

• Medical is available while Temporary
• If conversion to client's payroll, excellent benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision paid 100% by company for Employee & Family

LOCATION: Modesto Area

HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:am to 5:pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist in preparing schedule for insurance and fixed assets.
• Propose journal entries as needed and prepare month-end account reconciliations
• Perform inter-company transactions tie out
• Receive customer payments and apply vendor payments.
• Extract and import approved invoices to QuickBooks and perform completeness of the invoices.
• Performs month-end completeness check ensuring all invoices and journal entries have been posted correctly in a timely manner.
• Assist with quarter end close process by preparing foot notes
• Assist with 10Q tie out for quarter end close.
• Other general accounting duties as assigned.
