Vontas is looking for motivated and passionate college students to join our Summer 2023 Internship Program as a Software Developing Intern. This is an 8-to-10-week, paid internship, with a flexible schedule. This intern will have an opportunity to learn about the how Vontas develops Software and Hardware solutions for transportation industry through projects and hands-on learning opportunities, interns will create a network of like-minded peers and industry leaders. *This position will report daily to our on-site facility located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

As a Software Developer (Test Automation) Intern you will work alongside the software development team to provide testing and automation for the Azure Cloud platform. You will work in close collaboration with the development team, in an agile environment, to ensure the highest quality of our Cloud offered products. You will also be involved in working closely with other teams to gather infrastructure requirements, understand document procedures, troubleshoot complex issues, and support the implementation and deployment automation solutions. The person in the position will need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjust priorities.

This position is located at our office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and would need commitment to working onsite most of the time. This position is only open to rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled at an Iowa post-secondary educational institution. The ideal candidate is a student currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
