About the Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our experienced software design team. Your primary focus will be to learn the platform, codebase, gather user data, and respond to requests from mid and senior engineers across the Engineering organization. To ensure success, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, basic design patterns, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Ultimately, a top-class Junior Software Engineer provides valuable support to the design and engineering team while continually improving their coding and design skills.

Responsibilities:
  • In this role, you will attend and contribute to the company’s development meetings
  • Learn the codebase and improve your coding skills
  • Write and maintain code with an eye towards quality
  • Monitor the technical performance of internal systems
  • Respond to requests from the engineering team
  • Gather information from the PMO and Product Managers about program functionality

Salary Range: 70K-80K/year

Requirements
:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ years of experience in professional software engineering
  • Interest in building B2B2C/B2B/B2C products in SaaS like and mobile environments
  • Interest in technical innovation and working with an organization of engineers
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, JavaScript / React.js, or React Native
  • Knowledge of database and operating systems
  • Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to learn new software technologies quickly
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
