Only 1 Hospitality Group delivers distinctive culinary and premium entertainment experiences through its portfolio of restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, and day-life venues. The combined company operates 10 hospitality brands in the San Antonio market. These include 1902, Only 1 Catering, Costa Pacifica, Hook, Crème, Easy Baby, Lunatique, The Dojo, Amelia, and Daze Nightclub.
Only 1 Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our San Antonio based team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, nightlife, hospitality, and the overall guest experience. As the manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing and social media accounts to help expand our brand recognition for multiple restaurants, bars, and clubs. This role requires collaboration with the company’s food & beverage team, PR team, marketing team, and contracted third-party public relations firms. Your direct report will be the VP of Marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Directly plan and execute all social media initiatives for properties in San Antonio market
- Serve as the key liaison between Only 1 Managing Partners, operations teams and to communicate marketing plans for each of the outlets
- Be the direct point of contact for any marketing needs throughout the venues
- Oversee the creative direction of all digital and on property marketing collateral
- Create and conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly promotions & events at all locations
- Identify key holiday weekends, special events, celebrity birthdays, album releases, and social events for targeted event programming and offerings
- Work directly with chef & beverage teams to strategize on major holidays, specials, new menus, photoshoots, and any other public relations/marketing-driven initiatives
- Ensure all events are being properly marketed across all channels including but not limited to on property, PR, social media, email campaigns, and promotions/host teams (when appropriate)
- Provide on-site event support where necessary
- Directly manage monthly social editorial calendar for select venues, and post across Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels
- Social media ads – maintain healthy budget and execute accordingly
- Own and manage the email and newsletter strategy to share content with subscribers
- Be responsible for content creation, curation, and selection
- Source influencers and creators for team to partner with
- Source positive community involvement stories for content
- Create content in fresh ways, so that top-performing materials continue to get new eyes and is aligned with food trends and interests
- Demonstrate a great eye for design, technical skill, and knowledge of current food trends
- Guest interaction – respond to online inquiries in a professional manner and interact with those who tag or reference our venues
- Send monthly social media stats to show month to month channel growth
- Stay up to date on food holidays and incorporate them as part of content where applicable
- Work with venue, chef + operations team to schedule photo & video shoots
- On-site shoot management
- Engage with PR and meet upcoming PR timelines
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
- 3+ years’ experience managing social channels in the hospitality industry
- Passionate about food, hospitality, and the overall guest experience
- In-depth knowledge of social media channels
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools
- Excellent social listening skills
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to ensure all outputs are of the highest quality

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
