Oats Overnight is changing the way people eat breakfast, and since launching in 2016, our high protein spoon-free oatmeal has been enjoyed by over 1,000,000 customers. A digitally-native company since inception, we are scaling quickly in both direct-to-consumer and retail with the goal of becoming a household brand. We have end-to-end control of all phases of the business, producing and fulfilling the product in-house, which is extremely rare for companies our size. This allows us to create new flavors and products quickly and is a tremendous advantage for our brand – we’re able to give customers a behind-the-scenes look at what we do, highlighting our people and process in content. Being vertically integrated also enables us to incorporate customers directly in the development process.

What We Are Looking For
Oats Overnight was built on brand marketing and dynamic content creation, which continues today. This role supports both video content creation and customer engagement on social media. You will report to our Director of Retention Marketing and work directly with our social team (currently three people) to create content and interact with customers on our social media platforms.


Key Objectives
  • Play an active role in content ideation and strategy
  • Work with the Social Content Manager to capture iPhone footage for social media content.
  • You will be expected to produce a high volume of content
  • Respond to a high volume of customer comments and questions on social media platforms (IG, FB, TikTok, and others) in accordance with brand voice standards. You are operating as the brand publicly on paid ads and organic content.
  • Maintain a wide coverage schedule for these customer interactions. This role requires you to be available and connected throughout the day into the evening.
  • Communicate in real-time with rest of the social team to identify engagement trends and address customer issues
  • Report findings/learnings to Social Voice Manager
  • Familiarize yourself with existing and emerging social media platforms
  • Support the greater marketing team.
  • Post content to social media platforms at the direction of the Social Content Manager

What You Need to be Successful
  • College degree (2 or 4 year) in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Expert-level familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This includes the content creation tools found on those platforms
  • Expert-level experience with using an iPhone
  • Experience creating content, will be asked to provide previous examples
  • Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera
  • Proficient with capturing footage and editing content with iPhone
  • Strong attention to detail and high standard for quality
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sense of humor
  • Ability to thrive in team-oriented workflow.
