Job Description
The Recipe Critic team is expanding! We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to stay up to date on trends through weekly research and work directly with our Director of Social Media to communicate these trends, as well as discuss analytics and new ideas. This is a part-time, work from home position (preferably based in Utah) that will require 10-12 hours weekly.
What you’ll do:
On Facebook
- Schedule upcoming Facebook posts and content
On Instagram
- Schedule Posts/Reels and add appropriate links to our bio
- Add Alt Text to all posts
- Schedule new recipe Stories with links to recipes using our Canva templates
- Plan fun, engaging stories in our brand voice
- Add text to reels/posts on Canva as needed
On TikTok
- Schedule TikTok for each day of the week
- Manually publish posts 2-3 times per week to help boost engagement
- Add text to TikTok on Canva as needed
Qualifications / Who you are:
- You are a creative yourself and love flexing your right-brain muscles
- You stay up to date on the latest social trends and trending music
- You are familiar with scheduling platforms like Later, and an expert on all major Social Media platforms
- You pay attention to detail
- You appreciate constructive criticism
- You are able to be flexible and fit any brand style
- You have experience working with Canva
- You pride yourself on being able to meet to timelines
- You are an excellent verbal and written communicator
