WonderWorks Panama City Beach is looking for a Senior Operations Manager! WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park for the mind with 40,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

The Senior Operations Manager concentrates on leading smooth operations of the facility and managing employees to ensure guests have the most wonderful experience possible. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation and adherence of all established operational policies and procedures, regular communication with other departments and team members to maximize performance and maintaining company values.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively train, manage, and empower team members to provide optimal food and guest service
  • Understand and manage Guest Services, Retail, and Food & Beverage processes during shifts
  • Supervise team members, from interviewing to recognition to counseling to exits
  • Ensure facility maintains a safe and clean environment for all team members and guests
  • Provide operational support for group and special events as requested
  • Assist with employee relations related tasks
  • Help others as needed to maintain an exciting & dazzling experience for our team & guests!
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and/or fingers to operate register, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds amid a moderate to loud work environment
  • Conservational skills to recognize guest needs and ensure guest happiness
  • Our ideal candidate will be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • 2+ years of Operations Management in Guest Services, Retail, and Food & Beverage experience required to allow for optimal success
  • Ability to multi-task, work with limited supervision and make reasonable and ethical decisions quickly
