Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team responsible for the support of applications used to rent cars for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo, and National Car Rental. You will work closely with many different application support teams across the larger rental departments.

As a Sr. Business Analyst on the Pricing Team, you will be a critical team member serving as the analyst prioritizing incoming work and ensuring the team remains focused on critical tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for performing initial triage of reported Pricing requests including data analysis and identifying potential bugs. You will also field questions regarding our system functionality and may be asked to research and present information in response to questions related to business needs. You will actively investigate, analyze, collaborate, understand, and document the application/service functionality. You may participate in testing, identifying potential problems and researching opportunities to minimize complexity. You must be able to work in a fast paced, production environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

As a member of the Pricing team, you will be expected to represent your team in a positive manner both within and outside of your department. Pricing is a key contributor to multiple on-going projects like Greenlight and Frictionless. Pricing supports and maintains the data and applications that determines what price we offer to our customer for all brands and locations. This is an exciting department to be a part of with a lot of interaction with the Product team and various areas across IT and the business.

Qualifications:

Required
:
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • 3+ years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst, Software Analyst or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues
  • Experience complying with data security standards
  • Experience working with enterprise-wide systems
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities in a collaborative environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have proven experience in communicating and collaborating with all levels of management
  • Ability to clearly document complex business processes to the lowest level
  • Ability to communicate detailed information with analysts, developers, and other support teams
  • Ability to triage issues, identify root cause and conduct investigation into problems as needed
  • Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic requiring minimal direction
  • Consistently demonstrates personal ownership of tasks, projects, and job performance
  • Highly organized and detail oriented individual

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Experience with EHI applications ECARS or Odyssey or other Res or Rental applications is preferred
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools Confluence or JIRA is preferred
