Current Need

The McKesson FP&A team is in need of a Senior FP&A Analyst - North America FP&A COE - CoverMyMeds Expense remotely in either Columbus OH, Irving TX, Alpharetta GA, or Richmond VA.

Position Description

The FP&A Financial Services and Solutions team ("FS&S") was established in 2019 as part of the enterprise finance strategy. We currently manage the end-to-end monthly forecasting and annual budget/LRP process of expenses and capital spend on behalf of North America business units (except for Canada). The organization is in its early stage of transformation and we are focusing on fully operationalizing our business model and executing on designing and standardization of the processes across business units.

This Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics for the business unit expenses. This role would also be supporting standard management reporting across business units. This role will include responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyses in support of the business unit expense department. The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs.

As a key financial liaison, the Senior FP&A Analyst will partner with the various departments across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Forecasting/Budget/LRP Analytics and Reporting

  • Perform the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variance
  • Prepare reporting baseline packages: Close report, CFO month-end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules
  • Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes.
  • Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of key business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and FS&S
  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership

Engage in Enterprise Finance Transformation Initiatives

  • Implement FS&S FP&A governance model with BU partners
  • Document standard operating procedures and identify process optimization opportunities
  • Drive standardized reporting across the business units
  • Engage in Enterprise Digital Finance Transformation initiative
  • Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses

Minimum Requirements

Degree, or equivalent, and typically requires 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of financial statements
  • Experience with generating management reports, SG&A budgeting, and capital planning
  • Moderate experience working with FP&A systems such as COPA, TM1, Hyperion, SAC and BPC is preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau preferred
  • SAP experience - Previous healthcare or Pharma experience (preferred) - MS Office 365

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Attention to detail and demonstration of quick follow-up to study needs, commits to quality
  • Ability to work with businesses across geographies
  • Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Insight are highly desired, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – this position interfaces with senior executives on a regular basis
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and managerial skills
  • Advanced Excel, Proficient PowerPoint
  • Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Environment

Traditional office requirements. Large percentage of time performing computer-based work is required.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$74,600 - $124,300
