The role

As a senior Editor you will support the development of Editors by providing ongoing support, mentoring and constructive feedback to Editors and ensure quality standards. In conjunction with other Senior Editors you will coordinate Editor resource across our editorial teams.

You will edit, proof-read, and style written documents and slides in line with SOPs, liaise with studio and external suppliers to ensure items meet client specification and deadline and provide general administrative support to the editorial team.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a high-performing team, have excellent mentoring and communication skills, strong attention to detail and experience using some/all of the following software: Word, PowerPoint, Prism, Adobe Acrobat, Reference Manager, DataVision, Zinc, Endnote.

Requirements

• 3+ years editing experience
• Healthcare agency experience (desirable)
• Copy editing and proofreading skills
• High standard of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Prism, Excel, Reference Manager, client databases as required.

• Advanced use of Word for editing purposes, e.g. reviewing tools (templates, track changes)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to prepare/edit complex slides and figures in PowerPoint
• Able to prepare figures in Prism

• Clear understanding of issues relating to reproducing/adapting published material and data
