What you will be doing

Albertsons Companies has an opening for Collector - Debit Balance, Clerk III for the National Accounting Services Center in Phoenix, AZ.

The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.

Main responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Debit Balance Collections - Business to Business
• Working assigned past due accounts and identifying potential problems
• Communicate with vendors, division and distribution centers via phone, email, or messaging to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Research, analyze and make recommendations for improving methods and procedures
• Provide superior customer service
• Assist with research and resolving payment applications

What we are searching for

• Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable a plus
• Two years college with accounting course work or equivalent preferred
• Advance level PC skills with knowledge of Windows & Microsoft software
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision
• Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics
