This role will be responsible for ideation and discovery with profound impact on member experience, outcomes and affordability initiatives in the pharmaceutical space. This role should have advanced and deep understanding of managed care with experience with P&T committees, governance bodies, comparative efficacy and safety drug reviews, lines of business, and benefit structures. We are changing the face of healthcare with cutting edge ideas and technologies to meet the quadruple aim. This role will be required to provide pharmacotherapeutic subject matter expertise in all disease areas and be able to contribute to overall clinical content strategy. We develop solutions that have high impacts across UHC, Optum, and Care Delivery Organizations to ensure projects are aligned with core strategies and goals. This role requires a high level of comfort with verbal presentations to various committees, our external markets, and physician leadership. This role requires advanced communication skills, both written and oral, ability to function in a highly matrixed team environment. The work role is for individual contribution but requires both independent and teamwork, the ability to lead from behind and support, the ability to capture the work vision and develop work plans, and commitment to deliver to deadlines.
