Our client, a public accounting firm that has excellent work-life balance and has attracted talent from larger firms, to help them identify a Staff Auditor or Senior Auditor, depending on experience level.
$80,000 – $100,000 dependent on experience
The Senior Auditor will be performing various audits and reviews for the public accounting firm. The Senior Auditor performs audit procedures for various areas including over cash, receivables, and fixed assets, accounts payable and accrued expenses, debt and several income statement accounts.
- Work with firm team members to perform effective audit procedures, we as well as complete audit workpapers effectively and efficiently
- Analyze transactions and consider appropriate application of U.S. GAAP
- Communicate audit results to management
- Perform other duties as needed by management
- Experience the variety of clients, projects and situations that offer the best of learning environments
- Grow as a leader and in the process, have fun, and develop lasting relationships
- Plan and perform audits and reviews in addition to any other related client needs
- Develop thorough and updated knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards
- 1 to 3 years of experience at another public accounting/CPA firm
- Highly analytical and strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline is required
