Job Description

MAPEI is looking for a Sales Representative professional with a proven track record in sales in the market to sell MAPEI products. MAPEI Corporate Video

  • Achieve targeted sales budget as established by the Company.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing decision-makers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations to prospects and existing customers of the various solutions MAPEI offers to their business issues.
  • Develop lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Provide market feedback regarding customer and competitors; provide recommendations for new products based on market needs and attend trade-shows.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in sales of commercial products.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned market,/industry and a proven sales record.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently and to travel throughout the assigned territory
  • Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four year College or University, strongly preferred.
  • At a minimum, require High School Diploma or GED
  • You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as using the Internet.
