Sales and Marketing Manager - Marine Division

Bayamon, P.R.

This is a regular full-time position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of marine equipment and products, services, or other subjects of sale.

· Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.

· Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

· Create marketing and sales programs for marine products and equipment.

· Organize events to promote company´s marine equipment and products.

· Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

· Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

· Direct, coordinate, and review sales and service accounting and record-keeping, as well as receiving and shipping.

· Direct clerical staff to keep records of export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, and to maintain current information on tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.

· Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.

· Promote company brands to potential new clients.

· Represent company at events and association meetings to promote marine and equipment products.

· Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.

· Assess marketing potential of new and existing store locations, considering statistics and expenditures.

Competencies

· Close attention to detail and accuracy are necessary to completing many tasks.

· Be able to effectively handle problem analysis and making good decisions to solve them in a timely manner.

· Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with internal/external customers/stakeholders

· Able to participate in trainings and seminars from all brands in order to be updated with new equipment’s that are in the market.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in an accredited college.
• 3+ years of experience in Marine Equipment and products.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisor or manager position.
• Participate in events and promotions outside working hours is a must.
• Marine Sport experience is a desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28,922.73 - $105,237.96 per year
