The Residential Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the following for all Residential Treatment Program Supervisors (TPSs), the Residential Coordinator and the Residential Recreation and School Services Supervisor:
- Selection
- Supervision
- Clinical support and skill development
- Performance
The RPM administers the following:
- Ensures the department remains in good standing with residential polies and maintaining overall program compliance.
- Works as part of an integrated care team including the Director of Residential Services.
- Oversees all clinical programming that occurs in the milieu of the cottages including but is not limited to, the clinical support and skill development of clinical and cottage staff in collaboration with other designated program directors.
- Ensures the efficient and effective utilization of agency resources as it pertains to Residential programming to include fiscal, personnel, physical plant and therapeutic environment.
- Adherence to the training of standards and regulations as set forth by the agency, OCS Licensing, The Joint Commission and Medicaid.
- Carries out all responsibilities with fidelity and accountability to AK Child & Family Policies, AK child & family Mission, Core Values and AK Child & Family Philosophy of care.
- Coordinates with the training department to address training that is needed to facilitate clinical treatment within the milieu of the Cottages.
- Monitors the implementation of the residential behavior management systems, ensuring that it is strengths based, trauma informed, culturally appropriate and individualized.
- Assists in debriefing critical incidents within the residential program through a trauma informed lens and support interventions that can be used both preceding and after similar events arise.
- All positions at AK Child & Family may have responsibilities altered during the course of employment due to agency imperatives.

All employees with AK Child & Family are required to be in compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid COVID vaccine mandate. The mandate requires that by 2/14/22, staff at all health care facilities must have received their first dose of a 2-shot series (Moderna or Pfizer, currently) or a single dose of a 1-shot vaccine (Johnson and Johnson, currently) with the exception of those that have sought and been granted an exemption to the COVID mandate. Staff must complete this step before they can provide any care, treatment or other services for the facility and/or its patients. By 3/15/22, all staff with the exception of those that have sought and been granted an exemption to the COVID mandate, must complete the primary vaccination series.

Pay:
- Starting at $35.00 depending on education (DOE) and experience
- 3% pay increase after successful completion of 6-month Intro Period.
