Quality Control Manager

We are a company that produces, distributes, and markets cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, and innovative products related to the construction industries in Mexico and the United States. We are looking for an experience Quality Control Manager for our MT location.
Responsible for assuring quality from the production process through the delivery of the product.
- Oversees and plans all phases of the production process. Implements, upgrades and plans the steps in quality assurance.
- Develops and tests the quality assurance of new products.
- Procures and maintains the raw materials inventory.
- Develops the testing procedures used in quality assurance programs.
- Assists and supports the sales department in quality matters.
- Contributes to the maintenance of operational policies and procedures including hiring and termination, promotion and determining pay. Responsible for scheduling and performance evaluation.
- Exhibits good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- A college degree in engineering or equivalent educational experience is required.
- 5-10 years of cement manufacturing experience with 3 years Quality Control atmosphere is required.
- 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
- Must have solid computer skills, with experience working with local area networks, spreadsheet, Windows, word processing, database applications and PC operating systems.
- Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of automated laboratory equipment or have demonstrated the ability to learn all aspects of it.
