Description:

• The Quality Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of 3 Quality Technicians, 1 Operator currently, and will be performing basic laboratory tests within a GMP regulated food manufacturing environment.
• The number of direct reports will increase up to 10-12 as they approach busy season in the summer.
• This person will be taking samples off of the line and running basic pH and fat tests as well as checking packaging and grain weight.
• They will be following SOPs (standard operating procedures) to perform all tasks and then documenting information, reviewing batch records, helping with audits, following up on programs including sanitation, GMP and allergens, assisting in finished product testing, and helping with investigations.
• The Supervisor will be training new employees, helping with scheduling, and jumping in to help when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma OR equivalent experience
• 4+ years of team lead experience within a quality environment, ideally food manufacturing
• OR 2+ years of supervisory experience within a quality environment, ideally food manufacturing
• OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in another manufacturing environment
