Live near Lewisville? We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist/Supervisor looking for a great full time opportunity with potential to transform into a permanent role. Resumes are now being accepted!

Location: Lewisville, Texas (fully onsite)

Status of role: Temp to perm

Pay: $24-$25.00 per hour

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8 am-5 pm (full time)

What you bring to the table:
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Well-organized and able to progress on multiple projects simultaneously

Self-motivated and driven to learn new skills and work through daily task lists

Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Veterans are welcome to apply

Fluency in Mandarin is a plus

What you’ll be doing:
Reports directly to Purchasing Manager

Create purchase orders to vendors

Make purchases and ensure that orders received are accurate and are not damaged

Submit payment requests

Create RFPs for special projects

Contact vendors to obtain quotes

Create comparison tables for proposals from multiple vendors

Handle price disputes & claims with vendors

Update & maintain vendor service agreement & contract spreadsheets
