Overview

As a Purchasing Associate, you would be responsible for maintaining the Purchasing database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures information entered into the purchasing database is accurate and has proper approval prior to entry.
  • Maintains PeopleSoft item database, which includes creating item IDs, processing item links, updating pricing, and creating item catalogs.
  • Maintains PeopleSoft vendor database, which includes creating new vendors, processing address changes, and creating vendor reports.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years purchasing support experience preferred
  • 2+ years Microsoft office experience required. Specifically in Excel
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
