The IGT LTP Project Manager will project manage Industrial Gas Turbines within Region North America. Contracts will consist mainly of Long-Term Projects for our Distributed product line consisting of SGT-100 through 400’s Lincoln Design Small Gas Turbines though our SGT-600 through SGT-800 Finspang Medium Gas Turbines, according to defined International Project Management Association (IPMA) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for economic results.

The role will manage different levels of technical support and/or professional staff in a medium sized project or in a part of a strategic project. Employee will be based out of US.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Facilitate the execution of project/program solution plan for complex projects or programs.
• Responsible for delivery of complex project/program plans.
• Support the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs.
• Act as a functional or business process resource on projects or programs.
• Facilitate execution of continuous improvement plan.
• Perform active role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities.
• Responsible for POC accounting.

What You Bring

• BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Project Management, degree outside of Engineering may be substituted with field experience. 8+ years experience in Power Generation; technical experience in Small, Medium or Large Gas Turbine Maintenance.
• Required amount of travel with the position 15-35%!
• Required knowledge, PM @ Siemens, IPMA Certified, or able to obtain certification within five years.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
