Job Details

- Provide overall management direction for existing or new projects
- Plan, organize, and staff key field positions
- Create a collaborative team environment to meet project deadlines
- Identify and address client needs and concerns
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Prepare staffing requirements, schedules, budgets, and fee projections
- Understand construction methods and procedures
- Develop code searches and assist in the Product Schematic Design process
- Initiate design development and produce contract documents
- Coordinate project staff and ensure adherence to schedules and budget
- Provide daily guidance and answer questions from the team
- Maintain liaison with clients and A/E contacts for construction activities
- Check project staff work for content and accuracy
- Participate in zoning and public hearings
- Assist in projections, the billing process, and follow-up on overdue invoices
- Initiate remedial action for projects falling behind budgeted hours/dollars
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the housing market
- Promote the firm within the business community to develop new clients
- Coordinate projects with outside consultants
- Assist with proposals and represent the company in project meetings
- Manage financial aspects of contracts and maintain good client relationships
- Provide team leadership and maintain team morale
- Possess skills in leadership, communication, marketing, negotiation, and problem-solving
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) operations
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving abilities in construction and design-related issues
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in assisting with project phases (additional experience can substitute some education requirements)
