Position: Production Artist

Primary Role: Sales Support OM and Proposal development

Secondary Role: Broad Company-wide support

Hours & Location: Full-time, Remote with driving distance to Shelton, CT or Newton, MA offices (may need to attend on or off-site meetings or events throughout the year)

Starting Salary: $40 -$45K entry level. Paid time off after 90 days, medical/dental insurance reimbursement up to $5K/year, Bonus Opportunity.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Production Artist to help us grow and maintain our brand. As a Production Artist you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all design deliverables (Offering Memos, Proposals, etc.) and assets, as well as ensuring that all creative materials are produced on time and to the highest standard. This role is an integral part of the creative team, working closely with a lead designer, marketing, and other team members to bring the firm’s vision to life.

To be a successful production artist, you should be creative, computer savvy, and meticulous. Ultimately, a top-notch Production Artist is an expert with digital interfaces, can work well under stress and keep to deadlines, and has a keen eye for details, no matter how small.

Production Artist Responsibilities:

  • Working with lead designer to refine design specifications.
  • Assist design team in producing print, advertising, OMs & proposals.
  • Collaborate with the design/marketing team staff to define design goals.
  • Reviewing graphics, layouts, and fonts before designs are completed.
  • Using editing software to finalize standard aspects of designs.
  • Suggesting & making improvements to print and digital images & assets.
  • Following development timelines to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Troubleshooting problems with the design team and the printer as needed.
  • Cataloging produced images and graphics for future projects.
  • Following up with designer to ensure their expectations have been met.
  • Keeping up-to-date with graphic design trends, techniques, and software.

Production Artist Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in visual arts, design, or a related field.
  • A qualification in graphic design and/or real estate may be advantageous.
  • Proven work experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar.
  • A portfolio of completed graphics and designs.
  • In-depth knowledge of printing processes and software applications, including, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), and MS Office.
  • Experience with digital and print content, such as proposals, OMs, social media, online advertising, and email campaigns.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
