Job Description
Overview:
Seeking a Price Book Analyst with excellent communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot problems over the phone and patience to ensure an accurate retail Price Book. This is currently a remote position for the qualified Candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure price changes and price book entry is completed accurately and in advance of changes taking place at store level.
- Work closely with Marketing Department to add and delete items in the price book and ensure price book policies and procedures are followed.
- Provides support to end users on a variety of price book issues.
- Work with external vendors.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves problems.
- Maintain price book attribute setup (taxes, food stamp eligibility, etc) for point of sales.
- Maintain data exchange for EDI and price book data imports
- Work with Marketing Department on margin review
- Cost Exception Reporting Management
- PLU Exception Reporting Management
- Ability to solve problems on the first call.
- Provide friendly and professional support.
- Escalate calls as needed.
- Respond to all calls, Email and personnel requests within the same day.
- Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Maintain and support the retail price book.
Qualifications:
- PDI/Price Book experience a plus
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
- Willing to learn store applications including PDI software
- Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up
- Excellent data entry & communication skills
- Candidate must be articulate in verbal and written communications
- Candidate must be a team player and be flexible to changing assignments and direction
- Multi-tasking skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Dependability a must
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
