Physical Therapist Assistant - Acute Care, ICU, Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit - Days

Among our many world-class services we provide inpatient rehabilitation in the acute care setting and in our 22 bed acute care rehabilitation unit, which helps patients achieve functional independence so they can effectively re-integrate within the community. In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists and other physical therapy assistants to provide high quality rehabilitation to our patients in the acute care, ICU and Inpatient Rehabilitation settings. Prior experience with early mobilization in cardiac and cardiothoracic ICU settings is preferred.

Join our inter-disciplinary team and be a part of our many innovative programs including Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy, Burn Rehabilitation, Orthopedic/Trauma, Neurology and Inpatient Rehabilitation.

This is a per diem position, shifts to include weekdays Monday – Friday and occasional weekends, holidays 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Preferred Criteria

• 2+ years of Acute Care and ICU Experience

Required Criteria

• New York State Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Associates Degree from an accredited program for Physical Therapist Assistants
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
