SUMMARY
The Paramedic Lead, reporting to the District Manager, provides emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environments in accordance with estbalished medical protocols. Ensures the readiness of assigned emergency vehicles,e equipment and shift personnel. Provides safe and effective care and transportation of patients. Coordinates with Fleet Services and Deployment to ensure the accurate asset allocation and inventory availbility. Assumes field and/or shift command for decision making in the absence of the District Manager. Collaborates with training and education for assigned new hires and academy interns. Performs as a leader among peers as a role model for current and new staff members, providing open communiation and enhancing engagement throughout the assigned shifts.
