Job Title: Painter

• Complete Requested paint work orders from customer through work order system. 70%
• Complete preventive maintenance in accordance with established standards. 5%
• Rough carpentry including framing of walls, windows, and doors in both wood and steel construction. 5%
• Follow maintenance schedule to complete accurate and timely equipment maintenance and operating logs. 10%
• Complete documentation, including but not limited to, timesheets, expense reports, service reports and purchase card logs 5%
• Conduct general tasks including, but not limited to, safety training, group meetings and maintaining tools and vehicle (if applicable) 5%

• High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent

• Must have a minimum of 4-6 years commercial/ residential painting experience.

• Work order system a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to climb or balance. The associate is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
