Packaging Operator - Shawnee, KS
This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Summary:
The Packaging Operator is responsible for bagging all finished product per SOP’s for the Effingham premix facility.

Job Description:
  • Place finished product in proper packaging as stated on the BMI
  • Ensure finished product amount is accurate when compared to the BMI
  • Ensure the proper material is bagged within the correct labeled container
  • Verify the lot number, pallet cards, product code, and tag code listed on the ingredient is placed on the batch ticket
  • Take product samples on specified batches for 3rd party testing and retain samples.
  • Ensure product quality expectations are met and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
  • Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and complete all listed housekeeping duties on the master sanitation schedule
  • Operate both toting and bagging lines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A strong safety aptitude
  • Basic math and reading skills
